This Cafe Metro boasts a long window that fronts the atrium of Metrotech, but it is a shallow space, so the food line faces the entrance. It is a slightly smaller store, without a pizza oven, but otherwise includes many design elements that are now signatures for Caf Metro: glass tile, hanging pendant lights and contemporary metal shelving units. A new material at this location is a stone tile wall that uses a softer, more natural color scheme.
Like the other Cafe Metro locations, Metrotech is busy virtually all day with traffic from working people in the immediate area; Rosenberg Kolb designed a circulation path that accommodates people coming from either the front door or another entrance linked to the lobby of the building it's in.
